A boiled egg sandwich is a breakfast that can be prepared in a jiffy. It is perfect for rushed mornings when you don’t have time to spare in the kitchen but still would like to eat something healthy and protein-rich to kickstart the day. Follow this guide.
4-5 soft-boiled eggs 1 tbsp mayonnaise Salt to taste 2 tsp mustard sauce ½ tsp black pepper 2 tsp chopped chives/ herbs ½ tsp chopped cilantro 8 white bread slices 2 tbsp soft butter
Soft-boil eggs for 5-6 minutes and transfer them to a bowl with cold water.
Peel off the shell and mix the eggs with mayonnaise, sauce, salt, pepper, and herbs.
Use the back of a fork to break the eggs and mix them nicely with the other ingredients.
Spread a layer of this blend on a bread slice, and cover it with another.
Spread butter on bread and grill the sandwiches until the crust is golden brown.
Serve the sandwiches with chutney and sauce.
