Bikaneri bhujia is a famous Rajasthani snack that is widely popular for its crunch and spice. While readily available, here’s how you can make it at home for a preservative-free bhujia.
2 cups besan 1/2 teaspoon ajwain 1/2 teaspoon hing 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder Salt to taste Oil for deep frying
Combine besan, ajwain, hing, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
Gradually add water and make a stiff dough.
Roll the dough into thin noodle-like shapes and cut them into small pieces.
Heat some oil and deep-fry the small pieces for about 2-3 minutes per batch.
Take the fried bhujia out, drain the excess oil, and enjoy the crispy snack.
