Bhel puri is a crunchy, tangy street food from Mumbai made with puffed rice, chutneys, and fresh vegetables. It’s quick, flavourful, and perfectly captures the spirit of Indian chaat culture.
2 cups puffed rice ½ cup sev 1 chopped onion 1 chopped tomato 1 boiled diced potato 2 tbsp tamarind chutney 1 tbsp green chutney Salt, chaat masala, and lemon juice to taste
In a large mixing bowl, add puffed rice, chopped onion, tomato, and boiled potato.
Drizzle tamarind and green chutneys over the mixture.
Sprinkle salt, chaat masala, and a dash of lemon juice for tang.
Toss everything quickly to coat the puffed rice evenly with chutneys and spices.
Top with sev and serve immediately before the puffed rice loses its crunch.
