Besan ka halwa is a sweet treat that will not only cater to your sugar cravings but also nourish your body. It has gluten-free chickpea flour and nutritious nuts. This short guide will help you make this aromatic and irresistible dish at home.
10-12 cashews 1 cup gram flour ½ cup sugar ½ cup ghee 6-7 cardamom 10-12 pistachios 10-12 almonds 2 cups milk
Melt ghee in a pan and roast besan until it turns aromatic.
Soon it will start crumbling. Add sugar to the pan.
Pour milk and let the ingredients simmer on a low flame.
When the halwa achieves the right consistency, top it with crushed dry fruits.
Enjoy it hot after dinner or lunch.
