Besan halwa is a rich North Indian dessert that many grandmothers prepare in case of allergies, a cold, or a sore throat. As for the changing season, follow these four easy steps and make besan ka halwa.
1 cup besan 1 cup milk 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup ghee 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder Chopped nuts for garnish
Roast besan till aromatic. Set aside.
In a separate pan, mix milk, water, ghee, and sugar. Let it simmer.
Mix in roasted besan and cardamom powder and cook till the mixture thickens.
Garnish with chopped nuts and serve it warm.
