While the majority of wonton recipes call for deep-frying the wontons, this soup dish calls for boiling the wontons in water. This gives the recipe a sense of wholesomeness while also making it healthful.
100 gms mushrooms 4 tablespoon sesame oil 20 wonton 100 grams of broccoli 1 teaspoon white pepper powder 50 grams scallions 1 tablespoon garlic 3 teaspoons light soya sauce Salt as required 1 nori sheet
The vegetables should first be finely chopped and set aside in a big dish.
Mix thoroughly after adding salt and pepper to taste.
Make your preferred wonton filling, place 1 tbsp of it on the wonton wrapper, and set it aside.
Boil some water in a pot and add the prepared wontons to it in the meantime. Give this a good 4 minutes to fry.
Add some light soy sauce, cubes of nori, sesame oil, crushed garlic, and spring onions to serving bowls.
Add the wontons and a scoop of boiling water to this.
Serve after adding some spring onion greens as garnish!
Uncooked wontons can be kept in a box for up to a month after being frozen flat on a tray.
