Beetroot tikki is a vibrant snack made with grated beetroot, mashed potatoes, and spices, shaped into patties and shallow-fried until crisp. It’s both healthy and flavourful.
1 cup beetroot (grated) 1 cup boiled potatoes (mashed) 1 green chilli (finely chopped) ½ tsp cumin powder ½ tsp garam masala Salt to taste 2 tbsp breadcrumbs 1 tbsp oil for shallow frying
In a bowl, combine beetroot, potatoes, chilli, cumin powder, garam masala, salt, and breadcrumbs.
Shape the mixture into small round patties.
Heat oil in a pan and shallow-fry the tikkis until both sides are golden brown.
Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.
