Beetroot chilla is a vibrant Indian pancake made from gram flour and grated beetroot. Packed with fibre, colour, and flavour, it’s a healthy breakfast that’s both quick and satisfying.
1 cup gram flour (besan) ½ cup grated beetroot 1 green chilli (chopped) ½ tsp cumin seeds Salt and water as needed Oil for cooking
In a bowl, mix gram flour, beetroot, chilli, cumin, and salt, adding water gradually to make a smooth batter.
Heat a tawa and pour a ladleful of batter, spreading it evenly.
Drizzle a little oil and cook until golden on both sides.
Serve warm with green chutney or curd.
