Halwa is a traditional Indian dessert that can be made with a range of flours, nuts, and even fruits or vegetables. To make halwa vrat-friendly, you can make it with bananas. Here’s an easy recipe.
4-5 ripe bananas 2-3 tablespoons ghee 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup milk 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder Chopped nuts for garnish
Peel and mash bananas with a spoon.
Heat a kadhai and melt some ghee. Add the mashed bananas and cook till soft.
Add sugar, milk, and cardamom powder. Stir well till consistent.
Once you get the desired consistency, garnish with chopped nuts and serve.
