The first step to shift to a millet-forward diet is to replace the atta roti with a millet-based one. One of the best flatbreads made with millet flour has to be bajra roti. Why don’t you give it a try?
1 cup bajra flour 1/2 cup water 1 tablespoon oil Salt to taste
Mix bajra flour, salt, and oil. Gradually add water and knead the dough.
Once smooth, cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest.
Heat a tawa. Take small portions of the dough, roll them into roti and cook on both sides.
Once golden brown on both sides, serve hot.
