Avocado Toast With A Desi Twist Of Spice And Crunch

Avocado toast gets an Indian upgrade with green chilli, lime, and chaat masala. It’s fresh, flavourful, and takes just minutes to make; perfect for breakfast or a light snack.

Ingredients

2 slices multigrain or sourdough bread (toasted) 1 ripe avocado (mashed) ½ onion (chopped) ½ tomato (chopped) ½ green chilli (chopped) 1 tsp lemon juice A pinch of chaat masala

Step 1

In a bowl, mash avocado and mix in onion, tomato, green chilli, lemon juice, chaat masala, and salt.

Step 2

Spread generously over toasted bread.

Step 3

Sprinkle extra chaat masala or chilli flakes if you like heat. Serve fresh as an open toast with tea or coffee.
