Paddu is a South Indian dish, also known as kuzhi paniyaram, made from fermented dosa batter. These golden bite-sized treats are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, making them a perfect breakfast or evening snack.
2 cups fermented dosa batter 1 finely chopped onion 2 finely chopped green chillies 1 sprig curry leaves 1 tsp mustard seeds 1 tsp cumin seeds 2 tbsp grated coconut Oil for greasing
Saute mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chopped onions, chillies and curry leaves and mix into the dosa batter.
Heat the greased pan and pour the batter into the cavities.
Cook on medium flame until it turns golden brown and flip.
Serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.
