This aglio olio pasta recipe is a classic Italian garlic pasta made with olive oil, garlic, and chilli flakes. Simple yet aromatic, this easy pasta recipe is perfect for quick lunches or light dinners.
200 g spaghetti 4 tbsp olive oil 5 thinely sliced garlic cloves 1 tsp red chilli flakes Salt to taste Fresh parsley, chopped Parmesan cheese (optional)
Boil spaghetti in well-salted water until al dente, reserving some pasta water.
Heat olive oil on low flame and sauté garlic until lightly golden and fragrant.
Add chilli flakes and a splash of pasta water to gently infuse the oil.
Toss in cooked pasta and mix well until evenly coated.
Finish with parsley and optional parmesan, then serve immediately.
