Atte ka halwa is every grandmother’s go-to recipe when the children ask for something sweet or on early mornings when they make prasad. Made with minimal ingredients, follow this authentic atta halwa recipe.
1 cup atta 1/2 cup ghee 1 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder 1/2 cup water Chopped nuts for garnish
Heat some ghee and add atta. Roast till golden brown and fragrant.
Add sugar and stir well. Gradually mix water and mix till it thickens.
Once the water is absorbed, add the cardamom powder. Turn off the heat.
Garnish with chopped nuts and serve hot.
