Aloo pitika is a versatile addition to a regular spread. You can pair it with plain rice, rice kanji, or parathas. It can be prepared in a jiffy if you have boiled potatoes in the refrigerator. Note the recipe to prepare a delicious meal in no time.
3 boiled potatoes 2 red chillies 1 tbsp mustard oil 1 sliced onion A pinch of hing 1 tbsp coriander leaves Salt to taste 1-2 chopped garlic cloves ½ tsp mustard seeds
Heat mustard oil in a pan and add seeds to it.
Once the seeds start crackling, add hing and red chillies.
After 30 seconds, add onions and chopped garlic.
When onions turn pink, turn off the heat.
Spread the mixture on a plate and mash the potatoes.
Add coriander leaves to the mixture and shape it into balls.
