Suji halwa served with a spicy serving of kale chane and fluffy pooris is a staple for Ashtami. If youâre preparing a thali for kanjak pujan, follow these four steps to quickly make suji halwa without lumps.
1 cup suji 1/4 cup ghee 1 cup milk 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder A pinch of saffron strands Chopped nuts
Heat some ghee and stir in suji. Roast till golden brown.
Gradually add milk and keep stirring till the mixture is thick and consistent.
Add sugar and let the halwa cook till it dissolves.
Garnish with chopped nuts and saffron and serve warm.
