Combining the crunch of papdis, the tanginess of imli ki chutney, and the goodness of boiled potato cubes, this aloo papdi chaat is a must-try. Try this street-style recipe and satisfy your evening cravings.
1 cup urad dal 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds Pinch of salt Oil for frying 2 cups dahi 4 cups water Papdi as required 1 tablespoon green chutney 1 tablespoon tamarind chutney 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds Chopped cilantro for garnish
Soak the urad dal and blend it with cumin seeds, ginger paste, and salt.
Deep fry small portions of the batter to make the bhallas and soak them in water.
Whisk dahi and water together and add the soaked bhallas to it, removing the extra water.
Add papdi, green and tamarind chutney with the spices and mix all the contents.
Garnish with pomegranate seeds and cilantro, and your street snack will be ready.
