Turn overripe bananas into a soft banana bread that can be easily made in an air fryer. Easy to prepare, you can relish this banana bread for over a cup of tea or coffee, or as an on-the-go snack. Try making this once, and you would never want to throw away the overripe bananas.
2 ripe bananas, mashed 1½ cups whole wheat flour ½ cup brown sugar ¼ cup melted butter 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tsp baking powder ½ tsp baking soda ½ tsp cinnamon powder ¼ tsp salt ¼ cup milk 2 tbsp chopped walnuts (optional)
Peel and mash the overripe bananas nicely. To this, now mix butter, eggs, vanilla, and sugar. Blend everything nicely.
In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, a pinch of cinnamon powder and salt. Mix this dry mixture into the wet mixture to make a smooth, lump-free batter.
Take a baking tin that fits the air fryer well and grease it well. Pour the prepared batter into it and flatten it nicely with a spoon.
Air fry this at 160°C for about 30 to 35 minutes, thoroughly. You can check by inserting a toothpick; if it comes out clean, the bread is nicely cooked through.
Let the baked banana bread cool down totally and then begin slicing and enjoy it warm with tea or coffee.
