The custard is largely served in India. Simple yet scrumptious fruit custard is one of the best desserts, which is both healthy and tasty.
2 ½ cups milk 2 tsp custard powder 2 tsp sugar ¼ cup apple cubes ¼ cup banana pieces ¼ cup grapes, chopped 1 tsp cashews, crushed 1 tsp dates, chopped 1 tsp raisins 1 tsp almonds, chopped
Take a bowl and add custard powder to it. Add milk to the same bowl and mix.
Next, take 2 cups of milk in a heavy non-stick pan. Heat it over a medium flame until it boils. Stir it occasionally.
Add sugar to the pan. Switch off the flame. Add milk-custard powder mixture. Mix
Let it cook over a low flame for 5-7 minutes. Keep stirring until thick.
Switch off the flame. Transfer to a big bowl. Let it cool. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour.
Add the apples, bananas, and grapes. Mix and keep it again in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
The custard should be completely chilled before adding chopped fruits to it. Garnish it with crushed cashews and raisins. Serve!
