A Delicious Nachos Recipe To Satiate Children’s Snack Cravings

Crispy, colourful and loaded with flavour—what’s not to love about nachos! The versatile recipe means that any number of ingredients and combinations work to make this appealing across age groups, especially amongst children who are always on the lookout for a snack during evenings.

INGREDIENTS

1 packet tortilla chips 1 tomato, chopped 1 onion, chopped ½ cup grated cheese ½ cup shredded chicken ½ cup cooked rajma ¼ cup sliced olives ¼ cup store-bought salsa 3-4 tablespoons sour cream 1 avocado, mashed Salt, to taste

STEP 1

Layer the tortilla chips in a deep dish, alternating with the grated cheese before placing it in a hot oven for 3-4 minutes, until the cheese melts.

STEP 2

Sprinkle the onions, tomato, olives, chicken and beans before adding dollops of salsa and sour cream on top.

STEP 3

Season the mashed avocado with some salt and add it on top of the nachos.

STEP 4

Serve warm with additional salsa and sour cream on the side for dipping.
