8 Easy Steps For Restaurant-Style Crispy Corn With Mayo & Chilli Sauce

You must love the crispy corn served in the restaurant. However, if you try to make the dish at home, you might fail to achieve the restaurant-style flavour and texture. Here’s a step-by-step guide to make it at home, just like that!

Ingredients

2 cups of corn 1 cup mayonnaise ½ tsp black pepper powder Salt, to taste 1 cup cornflour 1 cup rice flour ½ cup red chilli sauce 3 tsps sugar 2-3 tsps red chilli flakes Refined oil

Step 1

Boil the corn. Add a little bit of salt to the pan of boiling water. Boil for 5 mins. Strain the water.

Step 2

Add black pepper powder and salt as per taste preference to the boiled corn, and mix well.

Step 3

Add corn flour to the boiled corn, and mix well so that the corn is covered by the corn flour.

Step 4

Add rice flour and again mix well so that the corn is covered with the rice flour. Add water, and mix well.

Step 5

Put the corn in the fridge for about half an hour.  In a bowl, add mayonnaise, red chilli paste, and sugar.  Mix.

Step 6

Heat oil in a pan to fry the corn over medium flame for about 7 minutes till corn swells up.

Step 7

Place on a paper napkin to drain the oil. Pour mayonnaise and red chilli paste, with a teaspoon, over the corn.

Step 8

Drizzle the corn with red chilli flakes. Serve hot!
