If you have some leftover curried paneer or cooked paneer, try to be creative about it. You can use it in a number of ways, be it as stuffing for your homemade parathas or as filling for pakodas. Let's look at some of the ways.
Crumble the leftover paneer and sauté it with onions, tomatoes, green chilies, and spices like cumin, turmeric, and garam masala. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with roti or paratha for a quick and flavorful paneer bhurji.
Spread mint chutney or tamarind chutney on bread slices and layer them with thinly sliced paneer, cucumber, tomato, and onion. Grill or toast the sandwich until golden brown and crispy for a tasty and filling snack or lunch option.
Toss cubed leftover paneer with mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, bell peppers, and your favorite salad dressing. Top with toasted nuts or seeds for added crunch and protein, creating a refreshing and nutritious paneer salad.
Stuff leftover paneer into whole wheat dough along with chopped onions, green chilies, and fresh cilantro. Roll out the dough into parathas and cook them on a griddle until golden brown and cooked through. Serve hot with yogurt or pickle.
Sauté leftover paneer with an assortment of colorful vegetables like bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, and snap peas. Season with soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and a touch of chili paste for a flavorful and nutritious paneer stir-fry.
Fill a whole wheat tortilla or flatbread with leftover paneer, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and a drizzle of yogurt sauce or mint chutney. Roll it up tightly and serve as a delicious and portable paneer wrap or roll for lunch or a snack on the go.
Use leftover paneer as a pizza topping along with your favourite vegetables and cheese. Spread tomato sauce on a pizza crust, sprinkle the paneer evenly over the sauce, add sliced onions, bell peppers, olives, and any other toppings.
