When the summer season is at its peak, you neither feel like cooking nor eating. It’s hard to think about preparing delicacies when all you want to do is gulp down chilled beverages. Here are some lightweight rice dishes you should try making.
If you have leftover rice, transform it into a delight in less than 5 minutes. Lemon rice can be prepared quickly, and it also digests easily.
Instead of cutting several vegetables, cook sliced onions, mustard seeds, green chillies, and turmeric powder. Saute cooked rice and fried rice will be ready.
Curd rice is a gem belonging to South Indian cuisine. Not only is it good for your gut but it also provides relief to the stomach from all the heat.
Much like fried rice, you can also make tangy tomato rice. It will take you less than 20 minutes to prepare a meal this delicious.
If you cannot tolerate the heat, quickly cut all the vegetables and cook them with rice and spices in the pressure cooker. Tehri will be ready.
Cook rice and lentils in the pressure cooker with turmeric, ghee, and red chilli powder. Enjoy khichdi with nimbu ka achaar and papad.
Saute vegetables and toss them with cooked rice. Sprinkle pav bhaji masala, and you have Mumbai-style tawa pulao.
