Making omelette is easy but it is no less than creating an art piece. Everything has to be in the right proportion, and you must ace the flipping to deliver a perfect omelette on a plate. Here is your guide to make a delicious breakfast or snack every day.
Always ensure that the eggs you are using are fresh. When you whisk fresh eggs, a frothy layer develops on the top.
You cannot forget the seasoning because it cannot incorporate layers. Add salt, pepper, red chilli powder, and ginger garlic paste while whisking.
When cooking an omelette, tilt the pan so that uncooked parts get hardened making flipping an easy job.
If you want to make a stuffed omelette, you can add fillings after flipping, and fold it with a spatula. Or add while whisking and cook the base to perfection before the flip.
Don’t use fillings that overpower the flavour of the egg. If you don’t enjoy the smell of eggs, add Italian seasoning, paprika, and coriander leaves to mask it.
When cooking an omelette with cheese, turn off the flame when the cheese melts. Let the ingredients cook in their heat.
Overcooking eggs can hamper the notes and affect the texture. Your omelette should be slightly moist at the centre instead of dry and chewy.
