Arisa

Made with jaggery, rice flour, and ghee, Arisa is a crispy, sweet dish prepared during festivals and wedding ceremonies.

Baalu Shahi

Baalu shahi is a crispy and deep-fried delicacy made with ghee, refined flour, and sugar. Small discs are first deep-fried and dipped into sugar syrup. 

Singori

Singori is a traditional preparation made with khoya, coconut, and dried fruits. It is poured into cones made of malu leaves that add a distinct flavour to it.

Bal Mithai

Bal mithai is also made from khoya. It is cooked with sugar and boasts a fudgy texture. Later, the sweet is topped with cardamom powder for a refreshing taste.

Gulgula

Gugula is a sweet fritter made by deep frying jaggery, wheat flour, and mashed bananas. Natives enjoy it as both a dessert and a snack. 

Chachwa

Originated in the Garhwal region, chachwa is a sweet prepared with wheat flour and jaggery. After achieving a thick consistency, it is shaped into small balls and cubed.
