For a healthy start to the day, try making this delicious sabudana dosa with a side of coconut chutney, any day of the week. It is a quick recipe and can be paired with boiled aloo sabzi too.
1 cup sago or tapioca pearls 2 tablespoon yoghurt or dahi ½ cup samak or barnyard millet rice Salt as required Ghee, as needed
Soak samak rice for about 30 minutes and sabudana for 4 hours.
Transfer sabudana, samark rice, curd, and some water into a blender. Create a thick paste by blending.
To change the consistency, add water and combine once more. Season with salt.
In a bowl, pour the batter. The consistency should be somewhat thinner. Salt to taste and whisk vigorously after adding.
Heat a tawa. Add 2 tablespoons of water and two drops of ghee. Wipe it lightly with a muslin towel.
Spread a thin layer of batter on the tawa using two ladles of batter and circular motions.
Once brown and crispy, sabudana dosa is ready to be served. Sabudana is free of gluten and a great alternative to grains and flour made from wheat.
