A Navratri vrat thali should be a wholesome meal comprising starters, main course, and dessert. It is the only full-fledged meal that people consume after fasting throughout the day. Here are a few must-haves in it.
Sabudana papad or aloo chips are crunchy in addition to the thali. You can relish these throughout the meal.
Sabudana vadas are starters that you must serve in a Navratri thali along with tangy and spicy green coriander chutney.
If you are not serving potato curry, serve them dry tossed with cumin seeds. It brings the other ingredients of the meal together.
Either use singhara flour or kuttu flour to prepare puri or paratha. They add carbs to the diet and make it fulfilling.
From paneer makhana to bhuna paneer, you can serve a variety of gravies with no onion or garlic in the recipe.
Since people don’t consume regular rice during Navratri. Hence, you can replace grains with samak rice.
For dessert, you can serve makhana kheer or any other sweet dish of your choice. It is healthy and loaded with nutrients.
