Ramadan days can be long and tiring, which makes smart kitchen planning a true blessing. A little prep done in advance saves time, reduces stress, and helps you focus on prayer, rest, and family. These make-ahead food tips keep iftar and sehri smooth, organised, and enjoyable.
Get your iftar and sehri menu in advance; it will save you a whole load of last-minute hassle.
Chop, wash and keep them in a container. You can add the veggies while cooking for sehri, it helps to save some time and prepare the food fast.
Onion-tomato masala, ginger-garlic paste, and spice mixes can be made once and used all week
You can marinate paneer, chicken, or kebabs ahead. It helps to enhance flavour and it also cuts cooking time.
You prepare samosas, kebabs, cutlets, or rolls before and freeze them well. When it is time for sehri, just take them out and fry or bake them
You can soak or boil chickpeas, rajma, lentils, and grains before and keep them in the fridge
Cut and portion fruits, dry fruits, laddoos, or sandwiches so sehri mornings stay calm.
