Snacks don’t need to be cooked using fire. You can prepare delicious finger foods without your stovetop. This is a short guide to sort evening plans and not stress too much, even if your munchkin is a picky eater.

Peanut Butter Sandwiches

You can also spread peanut butter on a whole-wheat bread slice, top with banana slices, and roll it up.

Energy Ladoos

In a food processor, blend pitted dates, nuts, oats, and a touch of cocoa powder or shredded coconut until a sticky dough forms. Roll into small balls.

Fruit Chaat

Thread colourful chunks of fruit (grapes, melon, strawberries, apples, pineapple). Sprinkle chaat masala and a squeeze of lime.

Biscuit Cake

Made with digestive biscuits, cocoa powder, and condensed milk, this simple chocolate cake is easy to bake and boasts a nutty flavour.

Avocado Toast

Mash ripe avocado with a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lime. Spread on whole-wheat toast. Kids will finish it in no time.

Sprouts Salad

Mix soaked and sprouted moong dal or moth beans with finely chopped cucumber, tomatoes, a dash of lemon juice, and rock salt. It is lip-smacking and healthy.

Chia Seed Pudding

Whisk chia seeds with milk and a touch of honey or maple syrup. Let it sit in the fridge overnight or for at least 3-4 hours until it thickens.
