Detox drinks have become increasingly popular to cleanse and rejuvenate the body. Here are seven detox drink recipes to try:
Drinking lemon water first thing in the morning helps stimulate digestion and liver function.
Rich in antioxidants, green tea is great for cleansing the body. Brew a cup using a green tea bag and a cup of hot water. Let steep for 3–5 minutes before drinking.
Cranberry juice is a natural diuretic that helps flush excess water and toxins from the body. Dilute 100% cranberry juice with water in a 1:3 ratio for a detox drink.
Add 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a glass of water. You can add lemon juice and honey. It aids in digestion and detoxification.
For a hydrating, nutrient-rich detox drink, infuse water with fruits and veggies.
Ginger soothes the stomach and promotes healthy digestion. Steep fresh ginger root in hot water combined with green tea.
