A soft and moist coconut cake is a timeless dessert that is sure to give you a tropical vibe. So, why don’t you move over coconut barfi and ladoos, and bake a cake in just six simple steps?
2 cups maida 4 cups powdered sugar 2 cups sweetened coconut 1 cup coconut milk 1/2 cup butter 3 eggs 2 teaspoons baking powder 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix maida, sugar, baking powder, half of the sweetened coconut, and salt together.
Blend butter, eggs, coconut milk, and one teaspoon of vanilla extract till smooth.
Gently add the dry ingredients and mix to get a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into a baking pan and bake it for about half an hour.
Prepare the frosting by blending butter, sugar, coconut milk, and vanilla extract till creamy.
Spread the frosting and sprinkle the rest of the sweetened shredded coconut on top.
