Irrespective of the seasons, you can make besan ka ladoo at home to treat your untimely sugar cravings. It is soft and offers a melt-in-the-mouth experience. Here is how you can make it with desi ghee and dry fruits.

Ingredients

½ cup desi ghee 2 cups besan 1 cup jaggery 10-12 roasted cashews 7-8 roasted almonds 1 tsp cardamom powder

Step 1

First dry-roast besan in a heavy-bottom kadhai until it releases aroma.

Step 2

After 10 minutes, pour ghee into the kadhai and combine the ingredients well.

Step 3

When the mixture starts releasing ghee, add jaggery.

Step 4

While the ingredients cook, dry roast cashews and almonds. Crush or pound them.

Step 5

Add dry fruits to the sweet blend along with cardamom powder.

Step 6

When the mixture is slightly cool, shape it into ladoos and enjoy.
