Most of the kids love potatoes. They might not eat any other vegetable, but they will jump on potato-based snacks. Here is your guide to making your child smile from ear to ear.
Grated or finely mashed potatoes mixed with a little cornflour/rice flour for binding, seasoned, shaped into smiles or small patties, and then shallow-fried or baked until golden.
Boiled potatoes are mixed with spices like cumin powder, coriander powder, green chillies (optional, adjust for kids), and fresh coriander. Tikkis are served with ketchup.
Have you ever seen a child say no to French fries? You can make these at home and add a small amount of salt according to your child's requirements.
Get small potatoes and bake them. Top them with a sweet, salty, and slightly spicy dressing and make restaurant-style Cajuns at home.
Just like French fries, you can also make potato wedges at home. Cut potatoes into wedges, toss with a little olive oil, salt, pepper, and a pinch of paprika or garlic powder. Bake until golden and crispy.
Cut potatoes to form a tornado with at least 20-25 cuts, straight and diagonal. Bake or fry these and top them with salt, red chilli powder, and fresh coriander.
