Oats are one of the easiest breakfast options that fit easily in almost everywhere. They can be cooked quickly, can be changed to a sweet or savoury version, and keep you full for a longer duration.
Cook plain oats with onions, tomatoes, mixed vegetables, turmeric, and garam masala. These warm, savoury oats taste comforting in every bite and feel like a quick version of khichdi.
Cook oats in milk or water, then mix in peanut butter and sliced banana. Creamy, lightly sweet, and very filling. It is a perfect breakfast option for rushed mornings.
Soak the cooked oats in fresh curd, add the grated carrot, cucumber, mustard seeds, and curry leaves. It is light, cooling, and perfect for hot or humid mornings.
Grind the oats to make flour out of it, mix some curd, spices, and chopped vegetables and cook it in a pan with less oil. It is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and pairs perfectly with green chutney.
Cook oats with grated apple and a pinch of cinnamon. It is naturally sweet, aromatic, and comforting. This bowl feels like a dessert but is actually a breakfast.
Cook oats in some plain water, then scramble eggs, onion, pepper, and herbs into it. It is a protein-rich, savoury, and satisfying breakfast option without feeling heavy or too oily.
