If you’ve got a few theplas lying around and no energy to cook again, here are some fun, simple ways to repurpose them into something tasty.
Roll one up with a bit of pickle, chopped onions, and a sprinkle of grated cheese. Heat it on the pan till it’s warm and the cheese melts slightly.
Tear the theplas into small pieces and toss them in a pan with leftover sabzi and a bit of jeera. You’ll end up with a dry, spiced thepla stir-fry.
If you’re in the mood for something chatpata, layer pieces of thepla with curd, green chutney, a bit of sweet chutney, and top it with sev.
Mash boiled potatoes with spices and spread them on a thepla. Cover with another one and toast both sides for a sandwich-style experience.
Turn your thepla into a pizza base. Add tomato chutney or sauce, cheese, and some veggies, then grill for a quick and easy pizza.
