Boiling soya chunks the right way is essential for the texture of the recipe. Overboiling or underboiling can make it difficult for you to achieve granular consistency. Follow this guide.
Take out a cup of soy chunks and add them to a pan of boiling water.
Let the chunks boil for 5-8 minutes.
They should swell and soak in water.
Sprinkle some salt and strain the water.
Use the back of the spoon to press the chunks to release excess water.
Drain the water and use the chunks in curries, pulao, and vegan keema.
