Frozen paneer can turn soft, milky, and fresh again with a few simple tricks, helping you make quick curries, bhurji, tikkas, wraps, and snacks without losing the delicate texture that makes paneer taste rich and restaurant-style at home
Soak frozen paneer cubes in warm water for 10 minutes to make them softer and less chewy before cooking
Lightly fry paneer in butter on medium heat for a golden outside and richer flavour without drying the cubes
Add paneer to curries during the final few minutes so the cubes stay soft and absorb the gravy properly
Mix a little salt into warm water while soaking paneer to bring back a fresher homemade taste
Store leftover paneer in fresh water inside the fridge and change the water daily to maintain softness
