Whether you want to pair it with pooris, having a pooja at home, or simply want to satiate your cravings, the North Indian staple, suji ka halwa can go a long way. Here’s an easy recipe to try.
1 cup suji 1/4 cup ghee 1 cup milk 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder A pinch of saffron strands Chopped nuts
Heat some ghee and stir in suji. Roast till golden brown.
Gradually add milk and keep stirring till the mixture is thick and consistent.
Add sugar and let the halwa cook till it dissolves.
Garnish with chopped nuts and saffron and serve warm.
