Make Healthy Oats Dosa For Breakfast With This Easy Recipe

Oats dosa is a healthy, crispy, and flavourful twist on the traditional dosa, made with ground oats, rice flour, and spices. Easy to prepare and rich in fibre it’s a nutritious option for breakfast or snacks, pairing perfectly with chutney or sambar.

Ingredients

1 cup oats (rolled or instant) 1/4 cup rice flour 1/4 cup semolina (rava) 1/2 cup curd 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 1-2 green chillies 1/2 inch ginger A few curry leaves 2 tbsp coriander leaves 1/4 tsp black pepper powder Salt Water Oil

Step 1

Dry roast the oats in a pan until aromatic. Let them cool and grind into a fine powder.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine oats powder, rice flour, semolina, and curd. Add water gradually to form a thin, pourable batter.

Step 3

Add cumin seeds, green chilies, ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves, black pepper, and salt. Mix well and let the batter rest for 15-20 minutes.

Step 4

Heat a non-stick tawa or griddle and lightly grease it with oil. Pour a ladleful of batter in the center and spread it thinly in a circular motion.

Step 5

Drizzle a few drops of oil around the edges and cook on medium heat until golden and crisp. Flip if needed. Serve hot oats dosa with chutney or sambar for a healthy, delicious meal.
