When you are in a hurry or not at all in the mood to cook, you need recipes that can be whipped up in a jiffy, like paneer bhurji. This protein-rich and creamy savoury delight pairs well with parathas and tastes absolutely delicious.
100 grams of paneer ½ cup milk 1.5 tbsp besan Salt to taste ½ tsp garlic powder ½-inch ginger 1 chopped green chilli ½ tsp red chilli powder 1 chopped onion, tomato 1 tbsp coriander leaves 1 tsp coriander powder ¼ tsp turmeric, cumin seeds 1 tbsp oil or butter
Heat oil in a kadhai and add cumin seeds, ginger, and turmeric powder.
Saute onions until they caramelise. Add tomatoes and other powdered spices.
When tomatoes start getting mushy, add besan and cook the ingredients.
Add milk after a minute to deglaze the kadhai. Let the mixture thicken.
Add crumbled paneer and coriander leaves. Let the bhurji cook for 5 minutes.
You can add more milk or a little bit of water to adjust the consistency. Add the salt, turn off the flame, and serve.
