Ingredients for Tomato Shorba Recipe

  • 1.50 Pieces Tomato
  • 1.50 g arlic cloves
  • 1/2 Pieces Onion
  • 1/2 Pieces Cinnamon sticks
  • 1 Pieces Cloves
  • 1 Pieces Black pepper
  • 1/2 Pieces Bay leaf
  • 1/2 Pieces Star anise
  • 1/2 Pieces Black cardamom
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.13 tsp Hing
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp Coriander cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp Fresh coriander

Directions: Tomato Shorba Recipe

  • STEP 1.In pressure cooker add tomato, onion, garlic and whole spices with water cook for 3 whistles.Release the pressure, remove whole spices and blend it well.Do the seasoning and boil for 15 minutesDo the tempering and garnish with fresh coriander.Serve it hot with any salty biscuits or crackers or mathari.
  • STEP 2.Notes/Tips:Add sugar if tomatoes are sour in taste.
