Ingredients for Rose pitha Recipe

  • 100 gm Rice powder
  • 20 gm maida
  • 50 gm patali jaggery
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.07 tablespoons Salt
  • 40 gm Oil
  • 1/10 tablespoons Rose water

Directions: Rose Pitha Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat 2 cups of water in a pan, add rice powder, 50 gm flour and little salt and mix it well to make knead.
  • STEP 2.Knead this well and make round dough

  • STEP 3.I cut big lechi from dough and rolled big bread. I cut 5 small loaves from the big loaves with a round mould

  • STEP 4.I roll the first bread and spread the top
  • STEP 5.In this way, I wrapped the remaining 4 breads on the first roll one by one and spread the top part.

  • STEP 6.As the number of bread increases, the rose flower will look bigger.
  • STEP 7.I made the rest of the pita like this. I fried pitha with refined oil in a pan

  • STEP 8.I boiled 3 cups of water and made syrup with jaggery cardamom seeds and rose water.
  • STEP 9.When the sira cooled a little, I soaked it with pita.

  • STEP 10.When the juice seeps into the pitha, I serve it with the juice.
