Ingredients for Pav Bhaji Recipe

  • 1/5 Pieces Small cauliflower
  • 0.40 Pieces Potatoes
  • 1/5 Pieces Capsicum
  • 1/10 cup Peas
  • 1/10 Pieces Beetroot
  • 1/5 Pieces Small carrot
  • 0.40 Pieces Onions finely chopped
  • 1/5 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 0.60 Pieces Tomatoes chopped
  • 1/5 g reen chili chopped
  • 0.60 tablespoons Oil
  • 1/5 teaspoon Cumin
  • 0.40 tsp pav bhaji masala
  • 1/10 tsp Coriander powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/5 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1/5 tsp Kasoori methi
  • A Few Drops Juice of
  • 0.40 tsp Butter
  • As Required Pav - for serving

Directions: Pav Bhaji Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash and chop all the vegetables and keep them ready.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add cumin seeds, crackle, add pav bhaji masala, immediately add tomatoes and green chillies and stir.
  • STEP 3.Now add all the chopped vegetables, potatoes, cabbage, carrots, peas, beetroot and cook for 1 minute while stirring.
  • STEP 4.Now add salt, coriander powder and 2 cups of water, cover the cooker and cook for 2 to 3 whistles. Let the steam of the cooker come out on its own.
  • STEP 5.Meanwhile, heat oil and butter in a pan, add finely chopped capsicum and onion and fry on high flame till it becomes light pink. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for few seconds.
  • STEP 6.Now add pav bhaji masala, kashmiri red chilli powder, salt as required and add kasoori fenugreek and mix. Add green coriander and mix.
  • STEP 7.Open the lid of the cooker, mash the vegetables with the help of a masher and mix it well.
  • STEP 8.Let the bhaji cook for 3 to 4 minutes, add water as required and cook it while stirring well. Add lemon juice and butter, mix and switch off the flame.
  • STEP 9.Put butter on a hot tawa and roast the pav and serve it with hot bhaji.
