Ingredients for Mithi boondi Recipe

  • 1/4 Cup besan
  • 0.06 Tsp Baking soda
  • 0.13 Cup water
  • 0.19 Cup sugar
  • As Required Pure ghee

Directions: Mithi Boondi Recipe

  • STEP 1.First l take besan and sieve it in a mixing bowl....
  • STEP 2.Now add baking soda nd water and make a smooth batter. You can use a whisker to make a lump-free batter. The batter should not be too thick nor too thin. It should be flowy consistency. Now add yellow food color and keep the batter aside.
  • STEP 3.In a separate pan pour water nd sugar and cook on high flame for 5-7 mins or till you get one strand syrup.
  • STEP 4.Heat required ghee in kadai.keep the flame low to medium. Ghee should not be too hot for frying. Now hold the boondi jhara just above the ghee and pour 3-4 tablespoon batter at a time over the large boondi jhara. Let the batter drop itself don't tap or move jhara otherwise, you won't get an equal size of boondi. Remove the round shape boondi from kadhai with the help of a slotted spoon and directly shift into the warm syrup.
  • STEP 5.Keep it aside for 2 to 3 hours and allow the boondi to absorb sugar syrup properly
