Ingredients for Leftover Roti Tacos with Potato Bharta Recipe

  • 2 g For the Roti Tacos
  • 0.67 cups For the Potato Bharta Filling
  • As Required Boiled & Mashed Potatoes
  • 0.33 cup Onions: finely chopped
  • 0.67 tbsps 2 tbsps (3 G
  • 0.33 tbsp Bhuna Masala: Homemade
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 g 3-4 Whole Dry Red Chillies: G
  • 0.17 cup Fresh Coriander Leaves: Finely Chopped
  • 0.33 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
  • 1/25 cup Chilli-Tomato Ketchup
  • 0.67 tbsps 2-3 tbsps
  • 0.67 g 2-3 g
  • as required Mustard/Cooking Oil
  • As Required arnish: Your Way

Directions: Leftover Roti Tacos With Potato Bharta Recipe

  • STEP 1.First Up: Warm the leftover Rotis in a tawa or in the microwave oven & set aside-
  • STEP 2.Boil the potatoes, peel it off to mash it smooth & nice in a mixing bowl- Set Aside
  • STEP 3.Heat up a frying pan over the medium flame- Add in the mustard oil & throw in the aforesaid all the ingredients one by one ☝️ sauté until they’re nicely cooked & turn fragrant-
  • STEP 4.Once that’s done ✅ checkout the seasonings part of it & adjust, if required at all
  • STEP 5.Next, add it into the same mixing bowl in which we already have the mashed potatoes- Mix into it, this very mixture too & give it all a really good mix until nicely combined & well incorporated
  • STEP 6.Now, place on your kitchen countertop the warm leftover Rotis now, apply a tbsp of the Ketchup on it nicely, place our freshly prepared Potato Bharta mixture at one side of it to fold the other side nicely & neatly on this side, gently press to even out the mixture & spread finely all along in a typical boat shaped Taco Shells shapes

  • STEP 7.Repeat the same for all- As many numbers of the same you’d require to prepare for your own family-

  • STEP 8.Next, heating up a frying pan over the medium flame- Add in some butter/ghee or even cooking oil whichever you do prefer- Then gently place one side of these Roti Tacos depending on the size of your pan or fry them in 2-3 Batches, accordingly as per your own convenience

  • STEP 9.Flip them onto the other side carefully & gently once one side is already done- Fry until they’re all nicely golden browned, at both the sides & all along its edges too-

  • STEP 10.Transfer it to a separate plate/dish or serving platter & garnish it your way…ENJOY 💁‍♀️
