Ingredients for Kanda bhaji Recipe

  • 1.50 Pieces onions
  • 1 Tbsp ajwain
  • 0.13 Cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 Cup chickpea flour
  • 2 Tbsp semolina
  • 1/2 Tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 Tbsp turmeric powder
  • To Taste salt
  • As Required oil for frying

Directions: Kanda Bhaji Recipe

  • STEP 1.Slice onions and transfer them to a mixing bowl.
  • STEP 2.Add ajwain seeds/carom seeds and chopped cilantro to it.
  • STEP 3.Then add chickpea flour, semolina, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  • STEP 4.Adding water little by little, give it all a good mix. It should not be too thin.
  • STEP 5.Heat oil to fry. Add spoonfuls of the batter to the hot oil and fry till they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 6.These onion pakodas are ready.
  • STEP 7.Serve them immediately with green mint chutney.
