Ingredients for Jhanjhanit Kolhapuri Misal Pav Recipe

  • 1/2 Pieces chopped onions
  • 1/4 Tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 Pieces Few garlic cloves
  • 1/4 Tbsp mustard oil
  • 3/4 Tbsp dessi
  • 1/4 Tbsp oil
  • 1/4 Pieces reen chilly
  • 1/4 Pieces finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 Tsp Kashmiri red chilly powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt as per taste
  • 1/4 Tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 Tbsp Goda or misal masala
  • 1/4 Tsp amchur
  • 1/2 Tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 Cups Mix misal sprouts
  • 1/4 Pieces Onion
  • 1/4 Bunches Fresh Coriander
  • 1/2 Tbsp Misal Sev
  • 1/4 Pieces Lemon
  • 1.50 Pieces Pav

Directions: Jhanjhanit Kolhapuri Misal Pav Recipe

  • STEP 1.Misal
  • STEP 2.Saute till golden-
  • STEP 3.2 chopped onions cumin seeds, 2-3 dry red chilly, few garlic cloves in a pan with mustard oil.
  • STEP 4.Add 2-3 tbsp of fresh or dessicated coconut. Mix well/ roast a bit.
  • STEP 5.Keep aside to cool down for grinding
  • STEP 6.In a deep pan or kadai add some oil/ green chilly, 1 finely chopped onion-saute.
  • STEP 7.Add Kashmiri red chilly powder - 2tsp
  • STEP 8.Salt as per taste
  • STEP 9.Coriander powder 1tsp
  • STEP 10.Garam masala 1 tsp
  • STEP 11.Goda or misal masala (if you have)
  • STEP 12.*Else to replace use 2tsp of pav bhaji masala
  • STEP 13.Add amchur 1tsp
  • STEP 14.Ginger garlic paste 2tsp
  • STEP 15.Saute it very well.
  • STEP 16.Add grinded masala.
  • STEP 17.Cook on medium flame till it leaves oil from sides of masala
  • STEP 18.Add mix sprouts - approx 2cups
  • STEP 19.to the masala.
  • STEP 20.Cover & cook on medium for 5-7 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • STEP 21.Now add boiling water around 4-5 cups.
  • STEP 22.Let it boil for 10-12 minutes till it starts reducing & oil appears on top.
  • STEP 23.Taste & add more salt or spices as required.
  • STEP 24.Serve it with pav, sev, lemon & onions.
