Ingredients for CHIKKI Recipe

  • 1/5 cup Peanuts -
  • 1/10 cup Jaggery/gur -
  • 1/10 tsp Clarified butter -

Directions: Chikki Recipe

  • STEP 1.Dry roast the peanuts in a pan for 7 - 8 mins in a low flame.
  • STEP 2.Remove the skin of the peanuts.
  • STEP 3.Heat jaggery/gur and clarified water in a pan.
  • STEP 4.Stir continuously on a low flame until jaggery gets thick consistency.
  • STEP 5.Now add roasted peanuts and constantly stir till the peanuts mixed with jaggery
  • STEP 6.Turn off the flame
  • STEP 7.Spread the oil on a plate and pour the mixture.
  • STEP 8.When cool cut into diamond shape.
