Ingredients for bread with walnuts and cranberries Recipe

  • 25 g Lukewarm milk
  • 1/4 tbsp Olive oil
  • 41.67 gms All purpose flour
  • 0.17 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/25 tsp Salt
  • 0.17 tbsp Instant yeast
  • 0.17 cup Fresh or dried cranberries
  • 0.08 cup Walnuts chopped
  • 0.17 tbsp Flax seeds

Directions: Bread With Walnuts And Cranberries Recipe

  • STEP 1.Mix yeast in 1/8 cup warm water with sugar and keep aside to rise.
  • STEP 2.Add warm milk, butter, sugar, salt to the risen yeast and mix well
  • STEP 3.Add flour to the mixture and knead well for 10 minutes till the dough is smooth.
  • STEP 4.Keep aside, in a greased bowl for an hour covered with a wet towel for the dough to rise.
  • STEP 5.After an hour knock down the dough and knead for a minute.
  • STEP 6.Now roll out the dough and spread dried cranberries & nuts.
  • STEP 7.Fold it again and shape it up as required
  • STEP 8.I have baked it in a round pan.
  • STEP 9.Grease the baking pan and place the dough
  • STEP 10.Brush the outer edges with a thin coat of milk or water.
  • STEP 11.Sprinkle some flax seeds on the top.
  • STEP 12.Cover the dough for second proofing for 15-20 minutes
  • STEP 13.Bake in a pre- heated oven at 180 C for 25 to 30 minutes, till it is done.
  • STEP 14.Once baked and done, remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack.
  • STEP 15.Slice using a bread knife and enjoy nutty & tangy bread with butter or jam.
