Ingredients for Beetroot and Walnut Raita Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 1/2 Pieces Small beetroot
  • 3.50 pieces 7
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 tsp jeera powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ghee

Directions: Beetroot And Walnut Raita Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash the beetroot nicely and pressure cook it till 3 whistles.
  • STEP 2.Remove and let it cool.
  • STEP 3.Peel the skin and grate it.
  • STEP 4.In a bowl take curd and add grated beetroot.
  • STEP 5.In a pan take 1 tsp ghee and on slow flame saute the walnuts till nice crisp.
  • STEP 6.Do not over roast as it will become bitter.
  • STEP 7.Cool and chop into pieces and add to curd mixture.
  • STEP 8.Add salt to taste and jeera powder.
  • STEP 9.Garnish with mint leaves.
  • STEP 10.Serve chilled.
  • STEP 11.If u want u can give a tadka of rai and green chillies.
